1. Principle
In accordance with the regulations applicable to furniture, take-back solutions may be offered when the customer purchases a piece of furniture or an equivalent product.
When the take-back obligation applies, the customer can benefit from a free take-back of an equivalent used product, under the conditions provided for by the regulations.
2. 1-for-1 Take-back
1-for-1 take-back consists of taking back an equivalent used product when purchasing a new or equivalent product.
Examples:
- purchase of a table: possible take-back of an equivalent table;
- purchase of a chair: possible take-back of an equivalent chair;
- purchase of furniture: possible take-back of equivalent furniture.
The take-back is limited to the quantity and nature of the products purchased.
3. Take-back request
The customer wishing to request a take-back must contact customer service before shipment or delivery:
The request must specify:
- the order number;
- the product purchased;
- the used product to be taken back;
- its approximate dimensions;
- its general condition;
- the collection address;
- any access constraints.
4. Practical conditions
The used product must be:
- emptied of all contents;
- disassembled when necessary;
- accessible at the agreed take-back point;
- handlable without risk to people, property or the carrier.
Take-back may be refused or postponed if the product presents a clear risk to safety, hygiene or health, or if access conditions do not allow removal under normal conditions.
5. Cost
When the regulatory 1-for-1 take-back is applicable, it is free of charge for the customer.
6. Other solutions
The customer can also inquire with their waste collection center, a collection point, a local association, a reuse network, or a competent municipal service.
7. EPR Information
When the Seller is subject to extended producer responsibility obligations, the applicable information is communicated on the website, in the product sheets or in the associated documents.
No fictitious or incomplete EPR identifier should be published.
